1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file the site stores on your device to remember information such as your language preferences, the cookie categories you have accepted or how you navigate between pages. Cookies can be first-party (from our domain) or third-party (from associated services such as Google).

2. Categories we use

• Analytics: help us understand how the site is read, fully anonymised while detailed consent has not been granted.
• Advertising: enable campaign measurement and delivery of relevant messages on partner platforms such as Google Ads.
• Personalisation: adapt formats and content to previous reading preferences.

3. Consent Mode v2

We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2 with every value denied by default (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage). Consent is only updated after your interaction with the banner. This means no analytics or advertising tag transmits identifiable information until you authorise it. When you reject, Google's tools operate in modelled mode, without tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

4. Managing your preferences

You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage preferences” button in the banner. You can also delete stored cookies from your browser settings; in that case the banner will reappear on your next visit.

5. Retention

The technical preference cookie is kept for a maximum of 12 months. Analytics and advertising cookies, when authorised, follow the retention periods defined by their providers; current details can be checked in Google's public documentation.

6. Relevant third parties

When you authorise analytics or advertising, we may send signals to Google Ads (AW-18064110603) and compatible measurement tools. We do not use social-network cookies or aggressive tracking platforms.
